VASMYST is a football commerce startup out of India. Our job is to be the place Indian fans actually trust when they buy a jersey — retro shirts that mean something, modern kits described honestly, delivered fast, priced fairly. We think Indian football fandom deserves a shop that treats the culture with the seriousness it has earned. That means editorial writing about the jerseys we sell, real photography, real quality checks, and a customer experience that assumes you actually care about the game. No fake “official” claims, no lorem-ipsum descriptions, no cutting corners.
Small team, high ownership. We move quickly, ship the boring stuff before it becomes a problem, and trust each other to make judgement calls without asking permission. We write things down — every decision lives in a doc or a commit message, not in somebody's head. We hire generalists who can go deep when they need to, over specialists who only want to touch one thing. Remote-friendly but India-based; we overlap on Indian working hours (IST). We're calm about pace but ruthless about quality. If a product page doesn't read well, we rewrite it. If a customer email takes 24 hours to answer, that's a bug. If the site loads slowly on a mid-range Android in Kanpur, that's the number we care about.

People who care about the details. People who watch football — not for content, for the game. People who'd rather ship one honest product page than ten padded ones. People who've built something on the side and can point to it. Formal qualifications matter less to us than taste, judgement, and evidence of work. If you're early in your career and have never had a “proper” job, that's fine — show us what you've made.
